Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant met members of Team Tech Infinity – Goa, who have been selected to represent India at the FIRST Global Challenge 2026, regarded as the Olympics of robotics, to be held in Incheon, South Korea.
The Chief Minister congratulated Anam Raza, Avaneesh Phadte, Dhruv Salgaonkar, Soham Redkar and Sparsh Verlekar on their achievement and wished the young innovators success at the international competition.
Speaking on the occasion, Sawant said that competing alongside teams from 194 countries, the students will carry the pride and aspirations of Goa and India to the global stage.
He said their selection reflects the students’ hard work and dedication, along with the guidance of their teachers and mentors and the support provided through the CARES Programme of the Government of Goa.
Sawant wished Team Tech Infinity – Goa every success in the competition and encouraged the students to continue innovating and making Goa and India proud.
“Innovate. Compete. Make Goa and India proud!” he said.
