PANAJI: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant attended a high-level review meeting in Panaji chaired by Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah. The session was attended by senior officials from various central and state agencies to deliberate on critical administrative and security matters.
Following the meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Sawant shared that Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a thorough review of key administrative issues concerning Goa. The discussions focused primarily on strengthening inter-agency coordination, ensuring the timely resolution of pending state issues, and intensifying multi-agency action against illegal narcotics.

Crackdown on Narcotics: Strengthened joint operational measures were outlined to eliminate illegal drug networks across Goa, directly supporting the Prime Minister's vision of a Nasha Mukta Bharat (Drug-Free India).
Inter-Agency Coordination: Discussions emphasized seamless cooperation and enhanced communication protocols among central security agencies, state police, and local administration.
Timely Administrative Resolutions: HM Amit Shah reviewed key administrative initiatives to ensure faster execution of state projects and inter-departmental approvals.
