Hyderabad, September 5–6, 2026: Goa’s rising martial arts talent Erica De Sequeira delivered a stunning performance at the South Zone Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026 in Hyderabad, winning four gold medals in four events.
Representing Goa, the 16-year-old athlete showcased her versatility and competitive experience by securing gold in:

Erica’s remarkable four-gold performance has earned her selection for the National Championship, taking her another step towards higher-level national and international competition, including the pathway towards the Asian Games.
A Rising Star for Goa
At just 16, Erica has established herself as one of Goa’s promising young combat-sports athletes. Her success across four different Ju-Jitsu disciplines reflects years of dedicated training, discipline and experience competing at state, national and international levels.
Erica trains under Coach Ronny (Raunak Singh) at the Academy of Combat Sports (ACS-GOA). Her latest achievement adds another major milestone to her sporting journey and brings further recognition to Goa on the national Ju-Jitsu platform.
