CURCHOREM: Curchorem Police have registered a case after the mother of a minor girl alleged that her daughter was kidnapped from Cacora, Curchorem, on September 22.
According to the complaint, the incident took place around 7.30 am, when an unidentified person allegedly took the girl away from the lawful custody of her mother.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance and trace her whereabouts.
Further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Sonal Gounkar of Curchorem Police Station.
The minor’s identity has not been disclosed in accordance with legal protections for children involved in such cases.
