PONDA: A scooter rider sustained grievous injuries after an electric bus allegedly collided with his two-wheeler near Nivaant Hotel at Kundai, Ponda, on September 22.
According to the complaint filed by HC 6841 Suraj Gaude of Mardol Police Station, the accident occurred around 8 am when the accused, identified as Pradeep Mardolkar of Navem, Dharbandora, was driving a Kabamba electric bus from Bhoma towards Kundai.
Police said the bus allegedly hit the rear of a Honda Activa while travelling near Nivaant Hotel. The Activa rider, Bhagwan Wagh of Neura, Tiswadi, suffered grievous injuries.
Mardol Police have registered a case in connection with the accident. Further investigation is being carried out by HC 6841 Suraj Gaude.
