PORVORIM: Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant launched integrated ERP systems for the Goa Labour Welfare Board and the Goa Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board at Mantralaya, Porvorim.
The new digital platforms will streamline key processes including worker registration, database management, contribution and cess collection, renewals, welfare scheme applications and monitoring.
The government said the systems will reduce paperwork, speed up processing and make welfare services more accessible to workers.
The platforms also feature e-Sign, DigiLocker integration, online payments, AI-enabled cost validation, blockchain-backed verification, QR authentication and geo-fenced mobile inspections, aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability.
Calling the initiative a “Digital Kranti” in labour welfare, Sawant urged eligible workers to register with the respective welfare boards and avail themselves of the benefits and services available.
