PANAJI: All liquor outlets and establishments authorised to sell liquor in packed bottles or serve it for consumption will remain closed across Goa on Friday, October 2, on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
The Office of the Commissioner of Excise has issued a notification directing all liquor licensees to keep their respective premises closed for the day.
The closure will apply to establishments selling liquor in packed bottles as well as those serving liquor for on-premise consumption.
The public is advised to take note of the mandatory closure.
